The Life Cycle of a Potato Unit Study Curriculum Guide with The Build Your Masterpiece Class
Today we are going to be learning all about the Potato and it’s life cycles. Enjoy the poster to hang up in your classroom, and use for reference for your students, as well as the identical coloring page for them to color in. Use the Montessori-Inspired 3-part cards to learn each stage of development of a Potato plant. Ways to use them include; laminating them and cutting them out to use to build vocabulary, enrich language with classification, reading, writing, and art.
Here are more ideas:
- use the picture cards without labels for basic identification and vocabulary activities. Print out two copies of the pictures and use the images only to create a classic memory game, of matching picture to picture.
-match the labels to the pictures.
use the cards for a writing or spelling lesson, including books with the cards for additional language connection. Find our suggested reading list below. We have also included Recipes, Copy-work, and tracing you to enjoy as well.
