What was your favourite part about these videos?
Feel free to use the worksheet included in the Mini Adventure, to write or dictate the things your kids liked the most. My favourite part was learning about how he observed the chandelier swinging while waiting in church, and how that inspired him to do more research about it!
What have you observed that has lead to further experimentation?
Art Project: Pendulum Painting
Watch the following tutorial vidoes to see how to set up this project. Please note that on these types of videos that tend to show the best version possible, and I would suggest to mention to your kids that it’s an experiment, and let’s see what type of painting we can make! To get the perfect spin and circle painting can take many attempts, and tries. It does depend on the tools you use, and the paint fluidity. Have fun!!
I hope you guys enjoy creating Pendulum Art with your kids! We had so much fun with this hands on art project! Share your Pendulum Painting Art with us on Instagram and tag us to be featured!

(Please note, the oldest version of the Build Your Masterpiece is shown in some of the pictures, and the recipe we did was different - and will be found in another Adventures in Italy all about Rome, that is in the works!)
Recipe: Let’s Make Herbed Focaccia Bread!
The holes we poke in the dough look so much like the craters on the moon, don’t they?
