Enjoy a walk around Pairs and the Eiffel Tower, October 2020 with Super Walker:
Take a walking tour from ‘Sean The Tour Guy’ in Paris!
Lots of cool history facts. He does talk a lot about how to actually walk the city for visitors, talking about making stops to eat as well, which I like, so if you are planning on traveling to Paris while you are learning about it with our Adventures, this is helpful. If not, you may still feel like you took a trip around the city! His tours are slightly more focused for adults, so please watch his videos before watching with your kids, to make sure you approve of it’s content.

Wire + Clay Eiffel Tower Art Project
Supplies Needed:
Air dry clay
20 gauge galvanized steel wire
Cardstock
Scissors/wire cutters
Steps:
Take your card stock and draw a large 'A'.
Next, take your wire and follow along the letter shape to make the basic shape of the Eiffel Tower. Continue to wrap and twist your wire around and around and build the 'A' shape. You can then add in the bottom arch and continue to wrap and twist more and more wire to thicken it up and add more detail to your art piece.
Next, we will create the bases, or feet. Roll two small balls of clay and tap the clay on the table to flatten them out so your tower will stand tall and even! Poke the bottom of your Eiffel Tower into the clay feet and pinch to connect it all together. Tap again to flatten the base.
You may need to take time with this project as little fingers may not be used to working with wire, and they may need to rest. As you see in the video tutorial, my fingers get pretty dirty from the wire too. Scan our QR code to watch this video!
If you need to take your feet off, as I did in the video tutorial, that is fine. You can save them for the very end if you want, but it's nice to play with it. Just be sure that the bottoms are flat and even, and thick enough so that your wire does not poke through.
I can't wait to see your wire and clay Eiffel Towers, please tag us on Instagram, and share!
