Lesson 3: Tomatoes

“Winter is a season of recovery and preparation.” - Paul Theroux

We may not be able to plant tomatoes this month, but we can learn about them and think about our garden for the Spring. You can find vegetables in your market all year long, so enjoy learning about tomatoes and cooking with them for the next 3 days! February 7th, 8th and 9th. Feb. 9th is National Pizza Day.

Valentine Butterfly Lollipop Holder Cards

Supplies:

  • Card stock with heart/stripe patterns

  • Heart stickers, sticker jewels, sticker googly eyes, etc.

  • Pack of Lollipops

  • Scissors

Steps:

  1. Fold your paper in half, and then draw out your butterfly wings, use as a guide, it’s ok if the wings are unique!

  2. Next, unfold your butterfly and decorate your wings with your stickers, and gems.

  3. Cut two slits where you will stick the lollipops in. Decorate as you wish, and place your lollipops inside!
