Today we are reading Chapter 12 in the “Wind in the Willows” titled " The Return of Ulysses." The friends come together to prepare for the fight against the weasels and stoats who have overtaken Toad's house. They travel through a tunnel, and the fight begins! The final chapter has some special moments, but does Toad really make amends and change this ways?
Discussion Ideas:
What all did they bring with them to the fight? What did you think of the fight at the end? How did Toad show growth of character in this last chapter? What was your favorite part of this book?
