Hands-on Science Experiment: Pepper and Soap
Learn how soap effects the surface of water with this quick experiment thats fun to watch and repeat over and over! Feel free to include some books that talk about Germs, washing hands, etc. We have included a few book titles you may enjoy.

Supplies Needed:
two bowls
ground pepper
water
dish soap
Steps:
Fill bowl with water, and sprinkle ground pepper on top of the water.
Squirt come dish soap into another bowl..
Now you're ready to begin! Test the 'dirty' bowl by dipping your clean finger into it, and see what happens. Record or document your findings.
Next, with a clean finger, dip it into the dish soap, coating your fingers completly on all sides, then dip it into the water. What happens? Record or document your findings!
